Using Tinker

Share an addon

Send a link that opens an addon right in Tinker, and open CurseForge links in Tinker.

Copy a link

On an addon's page, choose Copy link. Tinker copies a link such as tinker://addon/18808. When a friend with Tinker opens it, Tinker shows that addon's page, ready to install.

Some chat apps don't make tinker:// links clickable. Your friend can paste the link into Browse instead.

Paste a link into Browse

Paste any of these into the search field in Browse to open the addon:

• a Tinker link, such as tinker://addon/18808
• an addon's page on curseforge.com, such as https://www.curseforge.com/wow/addons/tomtom

Install buttons on curseforge.com

Tinker opens CurseForge's own install links. Choose Install on an addon's page on curseforge.com, and Tinker shows the addon and installs it.
