Install your first addon

Find an addon, read about it, and install it into your game.

1. Open Browse

   Choose Browse in the sidebar, or press ⌘ K. Browse shows the addons that fit the client you have selected.

2. Search or pick a category

   Type a name, or pick a category on the left, such as Bags & Inventory. Sort by popularity, recent updates, downloads, release date or name.

3. Read about it

   Click an addon to see its description, gallery, files, changelog and comments.

4. Install

   Choose Install. Tinker downloads the newest file for your flavor, checks it, and puts it in your AddOns folder. Addons it needs come along too.

The addon now shows up in My Addons. Start or reload the game to load it.

Pick a file

To install a certain version, open the addon's Files tab and choose Install next to the file you want. The file you have is marked. Turn on Show all game versions to see files made for other flavors.

Remove an addon

Choose Remove next to the addon in My Addons, or on its page. Tinker deletes its folders, then the addons it needed that nothing else needs. Folders that another addon shares stay.
